Gifted Requirements 

A minimum of 1 year as an Endoscopy Technician with recent experience in the specialty. 


Responsibilities

Endoscopy Technicians assist with performing maneuvers during procedures such as polypectomies and collection and of specimens.  The Endoscopy Tech performs EKG’s and the placement of a Pulse Oximeter. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Endoscopy Techs obtain, monitor, and document vital signs and retrieve endoscopy reports from EMR system
  • Set up, clean, and care for scopes, the exam room, computers, and other procedure equipment
  • Greet patients and escort them to exam/procedure room
