1) Special Education Teacher – Middle School Resource (7–8)

School Level: Middle School Dates: ASAP – May 21, 2026 Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Position Overview: This middle school resource room position supports 7th–8th grade students requiring specialized instruction aligned to IEP goals. Caseload will be determined. The district is seeking a teacher who is organized, collaborative, and comfortable supporting diverse learning needs in a resource setting.

2) Special Education Teacher – Elementary K–2 LABS Program (Social-Emotional Focus)

School Level: Elementary Dates: ASAP – End of School Year Schedule: 37.5–40 hours per week

Position Overview: This elementary K–2 Level C classroom serves students primarily diagnosed with Autism and Intellectual Disabilities. The LABS program focuses on social-emotional learning, supporting students in applying regulation, communication, and classroom readiness skills.

Due to multiple teacher transitions this year, the district is prioritizing a candidate who can bring structure, consistency, and routine to the classroom.

Classroom Details:

• Students: 9
• Support Staff: 3 full-time paraprofessionals
• Setting: Self-contained elementary classroom
• Program Focus: Social-emotional development and skill application

Ideal Candidate:

• Strong classroom management and routine-building skills
• Experience with Autism and/or Intellectual Disabilities preferred
• Comfortable working in a highly supported classroom setting

3) Special Education Teacher – High School ED-P (Alternative School Resource)

School Level: High School Dates: ASAP – May 21, 2026 Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week Openings: 2 positions available

Position Overview: This high school ED-P resource room position is located within an alternative school setting and supports students with emotional and behavioral needs. The caseload is approximately 12 students. The district is seeking teachers with emotional disturbance experience, and ideally some elementary instructional background, due to varied academic levels.
