Boys Hope Girls Hope of Greater New Orleans is a program that helps academically motivated middle and high school students. In this program, they're given the tools to rise above disadvantaged backgrounds and become successful in college and beyond. Their goal is to graduate young people to break the cycle of poverty. They believe in their potential, encourage service to others, and provide a loving home while the children work through school.
Gifted Healthcare employees began volunteering with the foundation in 2019. Employees created a Christmas fund that covered gifts for the children as well as some needs for the house.
After seeing what an impact the Christmas drive had, Gifted employees began hosting a dinner at Boys Hope Girls Hope once a month. Throughout COVID, employees would drop off dinner the second Tuesday of every month for the house. Employees are excited to return to in-person dinners where they will be able to prepare, serve, and enjoy with the children.

The things we take for granted, someone else is praying for.” – Teresa Carter, Gifted Staffing Specialist
