Celebrate National Nursing Assistants Week 2020

Today, we celebrate the start of the 43^rd annual National Nursing Assistants Week!

Every day, Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) play an important role in providing excellent care for patients across the country. A CNA performs hands-on care, assisting and helping patients with their day-to-day activities and often providing them with companionship. They also perform other information-gathering and maintenance duties that ensure healthcare facilities function at their highest level.

CNAs are a vital element of any nursing team and deserve to be celebrated! As the Baby Boomer population continues to age and live longer, more CNAs will be needed.
