Responsibilities
Educational Diagnosticians assess, diagnose, and work with students with learning disabilities. They collaborate with a team of school counselors, psychologists, and district social workers to advise and determine solution-oriented learning strategies for students. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Evaluate students and analyze test results to determine a course of action to aid students’ learning.
- Follow all state and federal regulations for special education programs.
- Document student progress and keep teachers, parents, and administrators actively informed.
